The lights are brighter than expected. It plays soothing sounds if you wish. I’m happy with the purchase. Oh, but the instructions are in Chinese as well as a translation into English, which is hilarious and impossible to decipher. Luckily the controls are somewhat intuitive.

Love anything having to do with water and ocean themes. Bought a different model from another company 2 years ago. Loved it, but this one is 10 times better as it has a wireless remote. I used this to cope with anxiety and insomnia. Great features including timer and wireles remote. Has preprogrammed ambient sounds built in that are sub-par and artificial sounding but tolerable. But i prefer the feature that allows you to connect your own personal music source to pipe through the unit's speaker. This device is a great visual and auditory relaxing therapy that I combine with a tabletop waterfountain for clients with my massage therapy sessions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
